Resurrection People “The Good Fight”
Smitchell   -

Many believe we live in the most contentious political times ever. At least we don’t have administration officials dueling to the death, as did Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr. Nor do we live in constant threat of a brutal death as were the early disciples under the Roman Emperors.

However, there’s no doubt that modern politics is a contentious brawl. On the other hand, we must realize that our political climate is only a context for our lives in Christ. The times do not shape us, Jesus does. That’s Paul’s point as he pens Ephesians 4. We live differently than those battered by the wind and waves of a given historical context.
